A cultural venue with iconic architecture in the heart of Paris
Visitors are immediately captivated by the natural light that floods the Japanese architect’s giantdome, creating fascinating patterns of light and shadow on the ancient columns and walls. This harmonious blend of past and present makes the Bourse de Commerce a unique place in Paris, easily described as the most beautiful cultural venue in the capital.
After the sublime Clinamen installationthat caused a sensation this summer, the Bourse de Commerce is presenting a new exhibition entitled “Clair-obscur, “ a fascinating journey from darkness to light, exploring the legacy of the chiaroscuro technique and its resonance in the contemporary world. Featuring some twenty modern and contemporary artists from the Pinault Collection, this exhibition transforms the museum into a twilight landscape, where visitors are immersed in contemplative reflection, between shadow and light. Open to the public from March 4, 2026.
