At first glance, this cutting-edge coffee shop in the 10ᵉ arrondissement can be scary, as it seems to cater exclusively to a clientele of connoisseurs. But behind its chic facade and thousands of stylish magazines, which are of course available for purchase, lies an ultra-chic address, where you’re served excellent coffee as if you were a long-time regular. The quality is top-notch, and the sweets are excellent (with a special mention for the cookie-brownie, which almost melts in your mouth). What’s more, the baristas are really nice (and we’re not just saying that because we’re regulars…). In short, go for it!

For 140 years, this café has been delighting the whole of Paris! Verlet was the first to have the audacity to roast and serve coffee origin by origin.
