Only opened in July 2024, Erso has been a sell-out since its inauguration. Run by Yann Placet and Marine Bert, the restaurant is always packed, thanks to a cuisine as inventive as it is delicious. Its success is not limited to the public, as the jurors of the Guide Lebey voted it “Best Bistro in Paris 2025” on Thursday March 13.
Erso, the best bistro in Paris 2025 is hiding in the 11th arrondissement.
A veritable bible of bistronomy, the Guide Lebey spotlights the best addresses in the capital and beyond, and awards its prize for the best bistro every year. Sifting through the city’s finest cantines, from their menus to their ambience and wine selection, the jurors reward each establishment in its entirety. And for the 2025 vintage, it’s a brand-new restaurant that has won the guide’s favor. To find the best bistro in Paris in 2025, you’ll have to go to the 11th district and Erso!
Already the playground of many great addresses, the 11th arrondissement has had a newcomer in its midst since last summer, and it took just a few months of service to earn the title. Having worked in prestigious establishments such as Lutetia, La Dame de Pic and Chiberta, Yann and Marine opened Erso in July 2024, and every day they offer delicious recipes using the finest ingredients, at very reasonable prices.
Expect to pay €23 for a starter – main course or main course – dessert, or €29 for the whole meal, and treat yourself, for example, to an endive confit with orange juice, a delicate pork terrine, or a good veal knuckle with sweet potato mousseline. For the sweet side, pavlova and gianduja make up the desserts and perfectly punctuate this culinary journey.
An early but well-deserved accolade for the bistro, which also rewards a special attention to detail, right down to the coffee and bread, for example. An address to try out very soon!
