This legendary hotel is home to the most beautiful bar in Paris… It’s the perfect place to sip cutting-edge cocktails, with a breathtaking view of the Place de la Concorde. The best part? Look up: a painted sky adorns the ceiling, and it’s listed as a historic monument. Grandiose.
The most beautiful bar in Paris is located in this legendary palace…
In the City of Light, the Hôtel de Crillon makes the Place de la Concorde shine. Much more than a prestigious hotel, this Parisian palace is steeped in history. In fact, it’s the perfect embodiment of French luxury and elegance. Built in 1758 by architect Ange-Jacques Gabriel, in 1788 the building became the property of the Comte de Crillon, from whom it took its name. Transformed into a luxury hotel in 1909 by architect Walter-André Destailleur, it then became what is known as “ L’Hôtel des voyageurs”. Its splendor attracted illustrious guests from all over the world, including Theodore Roosevelt, Jean Cocteau and Andy Warhol.
With its crystal chandeliers, period woodwork and Bernstein suite – which offers one of the most iconic views of the Eiffel Tower – the Hôtel de Crillon is an architectural gem. It’s no coincidence that, in 2021, the renowned Travel + Leisure guide ranked it among the world’s best hotels. Culinary experiences are varied and refined, thanks in particular to Matthieu Carlin’s Butterfly Pâtisserie or Paul Pairet’ s French-style grill Nonos & Comestibles. But what makes the Hôtel de Crillon all the more exceptional is its bar – surely the most beautiful hotel bar in Paris…
