A magnificent footbridge at the gates of Paris with a view of the Eiffel Tower
While Saint-Cloud is rightly famous for its magnificent château and grounds, which you can explore for free all year round, few people know about its footbridge hidden up in the hills.

Designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Avre Footbridge was conceived so that passersby could enjoy its lovely view of the tower. At 450 meters long, this footbridge is entirely pedestrian-only. Cyclists may use it, but only by walking their bikes.

Between the Bois de Boulogne, theSeine at our feet, and theEiffel Tower inthe background,it’s hard to imagine anything more spectacular. With its charming streetlamps, its metal structure typical of the Eiffel workshops, and its various vantage points overlooking the surrounding area, you’re simply going to be enchanted!
