As you know, in November, light displays begin to open just about everywhere in Paris and the Île-de-France region. It’s the perfect opportunity to get into the holiday spirit! For the occasion, the Jardin d’Acclimatation is lighting up its lanterns once again. And this year, it invites you to set your sights on India!
A luminous and immersive journey on the outskirts of Paris

After Chinese dragons in 2023, dinosaurs in 2024, and Japan in 2025, the festival is changing countries. This year, the route showcases the landscapes, deities, and traditional festivals of the land of the Maharajas.
Along the route, you’ll encounter sacred animals, Hindu temples, multicolored saris, and India’s most famous symbols. In all, no fewer than 2,000 lanterns will take you on a journey across the entire country, from the Taj Mahal to New Delhi via Pondicherry.
This beautiful walk, which lasts about 45 minutes, will immerse you in a colorful world, through spectacular and sometimes even very poetic settings. It’s a wonderful way to discover not only the cultural richness of this magnificent country but also its lush natural beauty!
To extend the escape, a food court featuring Indian flavors will offer colorful and spicy specialties to enjoy on the spot. So, are you ready to escape Paris for an evening?
