A Japanese Christmas market with a village-like atmosphere is setting up at Ground Control
In December, get ready to travel to the Land of the Rising Sun without leaving Paris. The Shizen Christmas Village returns December 5–6 for a weekend that promises to be incredible. This year, more than 80 vendors will be on site: you’ll find food, including some lesser-known Japanese specialties to enjoy on the spot, as well as crafts.
It’s the perfect opportunity to slip some truly unique gifts under the tree. This year, you can also take part in DIY workshops to make your own ikebana or origami, sing your heart out in the karaoke room, or admire Lois Lagarde’s exhibition on the four seasons in Japan.
More surprises await visitors this year! You’ll find a sauna area that will remind you of the gentle warmth of onsen, attend film screenings, and cheer on artists at concerts… All this and much more awaits you starting in December—for one weekend only.
