After a spectacular first edition, Aligofest returns on November 13 and 14 with a clear goal: to break the 2025 consumption record. Just a few hours by train from Paris, this XXL feast will let food lovers enjoy all-you-can-eat aligot and sausage for two days. It’s an event not to be missed at the Grand Marché du MIN in Toulouse.
All-you-can-eat aligot and sausage during two days of festivities
Last year, nearly 3,000 people gathered to enjoy the famous dish from Aveyron, setting a world record of 3.9 metric tons consumed. For this year’s event, the organizers of Aligofest are expecting at least twice as many guests! Across nearly 8,500 square meters of space, large tables will see aligot flying off the plates as food lovers attempt to set a new record.
A little treasure from Aveyron, this now-iconic dish is the result of a long-standing blend of mashed potatoes and cheese. Traditionally served with a well-grilled Toulouse sausage , this dish will be served by the kilo—and even by the metric ton—during this special weekend.

But beyond aligot as the central theme, the weekend will feature numerous activities in a highly festive atmosphere. For two days, visitors can join in on bandas, party to DJ sets, enjoy sports broadcasts, or take part in the challenges planned throughout Aligofest.
More than just a banquet, this major popular festival will bring together thousands of people from all over France. Last year, literally 85% of France’s departments were represented.
All that’s left to do is book your train ticket to the “Pink City” and treat yourself to one of the most indulgent weekends of early fall!
