No, this isn’t the start of a Midsommar-style movie, but the second edition of Whispering Woods, a secret techno party in Paris dreamed up by the RTZ collective. And I promise, no strange rituals are planned.

After a highly acclaimed first chapter last summer, RTZ returns to the heart of the Bois de Vincennes. The idea? To create an intimate electro interlude in the heart of nature, supported by a pared-down scenography and a bespoke sound system. No bling, no strobes. Whispering Woods is all about good sound vinyl only, and an ultra-polished atmosphere. On the technical side, the Technicentre crew provides the sound system, calibrated especially for the dancefloor, so you can be sure of quality.

Behind the decks, the three founders of the collective: Poulard, Pardyes and Mathiou, each with their own unique vibe. Their sets are always finely chiselled, with a love for organic textures, unstructured rhythms and deep grooves. Expect to travel between minimal micro-house, subtle techno and little electro nuggets gleaned from digging. Guest appearances by Nosip – a sharp and loyal digger in the RTZ universe – and Vienkham will enrich the selection with their rare vinyls and subtle transitions.
