This weekend, the Carreau du Temple is hosting a huge indoor garage sale organized by Secours Populaire. An event that combines bargains, responsible shopping and solidarity action!
A solidarity and second-hand event
Is January the month of good resolutions and dry finances? Has second-hand consumption become more popular in recent years, and are you thinking of joining the movement in 2025? Welcome to the club, and welcome to flea markets, thrift shops, dress sales, garage sales and flea markets! The latter haven’t made a comeback yet, but for the impatient, we’ve got an event for you this weekend!
Return of the 7th Secours Populaire garage sale at Carreau du Temple
This Saturday, take part in a huge garage sale in the heart of Paris, with the added advantage of being covered and protected from the cold. Every year in January, Secours Populaire organizes a giant, friendly garage sale at the Carreau du Temple.
Under the great glass roof of the Carreau, you’ll find a bargain or a nugget on the stalls of private individuals from Paris-Centre (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th arrondissements). They’ve cleared out their closets and will have plenty of treasures to give away! Children’s and teenagers’ clothes, books, games, men’s/women’s clothing, crockery, decorative items or a few vintage/luxury pieces, there’ll be a multitude of bargains to suit all budgets!
A bar with drinks and snacks is also waiting for you to refuel between two stands! And the big plus of this event is that all funds raised (stall rentals, on-site visitor donations) will go directly to Secours Populaire to finance its solidarity actions in Paris.
Good atmosphere, good business and good deeds, this is the event that’s got it all!
