Located in the charming village of Dampierre-en-Yvelines, the Château de Dampierre is a magnificent estate situated in the heart of the Chevreuse Valley. Listed as a Historic Monument, the 400-hectare estate conceals a breathtaking 90-hectare garden designed by André Le Nôtre. It is thanks to him that we can, among other things, stroll through the sublime gardens of the Palace of Versailles. And it is precisely in this garden that Tulip Day will take place!
A vast tulip garden just 1 hour from Paris
From late March through early May, the estate’s magnificent garden will be transformed by a vast tulip bed . In fact, no fewer than 80,000 flowers of various colors will bloom over several weeks, and you’ll be able to photograph them from every angle.

Amid its French-style gardens, fountains, and undulating landscapes, the multicolored tulips will offer you a variety of views that you’ll enjoy exploring.
Don’t miss April 28, which will be dedicated to the tulip, one of the stars of the season. On the program: musical entertainment, food stands, and of course, tulips as far as the eye can see! On May 9 and 10, the estate will host the Plant Festival. A very friendly event where you can stock up on houseplants and chat with horticultural professionals: landscape architects, florists, and nursery owners will be on hand during these two days.

This magnificent garden can be explored on your own or via guided tours, all year round. A fabulous place to admire and explore to your heart’s content!
