In mid-April, this Grand Paris park will undergo a complete transformation. Pathways lined with flowers, bustling lawns, and crowds returning: one of the major spring events in Île-de-France is on the horizon. The Tulip Festival returns on April 18 and 19, 2026, at the Parc de la Légion d’Honneur in Saint-Denis, with two days of completely free entertainment.
“A true open-air garden”: a magical spring event
For this occasion, gardeners have planted thousands of tulips, which will bring color to the entire park and transform the grounds into a true open-air garden. The setting, already pleasant the rest of the year, will take on a whole new dimension in April. We can already start thinking about our little strolls among the flower beds and our picnics on the grass.
Throughout the weekend, visitors will enjoy a packed program featuring shows, concerts, and activities for all ages. Jugglers, marching bands, and musicians will take the stage in different areas of the park, creating a friendly and cheerful atmosphere.
For children, dedicated areas with games and workshops will be set up, while older visitors can stroll among the stands. Highly accessible, this event and its activities will be open to everyone free of charge and with no admission fee.

In the section of the park dedicated to local initiatives, a community village will also bring together local stakeholders around themes such as ecology, urban agriculture, and crafts. These participatory workshops will aim to introduce visitors to various projects or simply provide an opportunity to interact with exhibitors.
On the culinary side, several stands, refreshment booths, and food trucks will let us enjoy a feast right there. Between activities, we’ll be able to treat ourselves to some local specialties and street food.
Located just a few minutes from the Basilica of Saint-Denis, the Parc de la Légion d’Honneur is easily accessible from Paris by metro or tram. With the return of sunny days, this is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a stroll among the flowers, free activities, and a true spring atmosphere.
