And to prove it, the month of May will see the return of Tous à l’Opéra, meaning open doors at Parisian institutions!

Every year, it’s the same old story: France’s opera houses open their doors free of charge to the general public. No need to blow your PEL or struggle to find previews at €10, the Tous à l’Opéra operation is back from May 9 to 11, 2025! This 18th edition promises to be full of surprises. In some thirty participating opera houses in France, workshops and tours will be organized and waiting for you, for the modest sum of 0€!
Every year, more than 80,000 spectators flock to some of France’s finest institutions for this special weekend. The 2025 edition of Tous à l’Opéra is sure to be no exception, and tickets are sure to go fast! Developed with the ambition of democratizing this art form for neophytes, this cultural event also aims to introduce them to mythical venues, and show the general public what goes on behind the scenes. For Parisians, it will be an opportunity to (re)discover the Palais Garnier and the Opéra Bastille, and to marvel at the very heart of these institutions.
