A not-to-be-missed event during the festive season, the magical Marché de Noël des Tuileries covers an area of one hectare, in one of the capital’s most beautiful gardens. Eight days of assembly will be needed to bring this magical setting to life, where 80 wooden chalets and enchanting attractions will take their place. It’s a magical Christmas market to stroll through, while waiting to discover the huge Swiss Christmas market at La Villette on November 20…
Crafts, delicacies and festive spirit at the heart of the magical Marché de Noël des Tuileries
This year, among the illuminated aisles, visitors can stroll between the stands of artisans from the four corners of France: ceramic paintings, jewelry adorned with precious and semi-precious stones, stained glass, Christmas decorations, wood carvings, upcycledaccessories… so many unique gift ideas to slip under the tree.
When it comes to sweet treats, get ready for a culinary tour of France! On the menu: specialities from Alsace, Savoy, Brittany, Auvergne and even the West Indies will warm your heart! And let’s not forget the inevitable mulled wine, gingerbread and so many other sweet treats that smell just like Christmas.
An XXL slide, a 250 m2 ice rink, a giant toboggan… Attractions for young and old
The Magic of Christmas at the Tuileries is also a children’s paradise. A dozen rides await them, including a giant toboggan, Santa’s little train, a Christmas carousel and many other surprises. And to prolong the enchantment, a 250 m² skating rink will be set up in the heart of the market to let them slide in a festive atmosphere.
The youngest visitors will also be treated to a free show : on the stage of his wagon, the Petit Fousset and his fairy will tell in song the fabulous story of the Magic Forest and its animals celebrating Christmas. A beautifully poetic moment to share with the whole family, on Saturdays and Sundays, and every day during school vacations.
