It’s official! The largest Christmas market in the Paris region is set to light up the forecourt of La Défense. From November 13, 2025, the Paris La Défense Christmas Market will reopen its doors for a 30th edition that promises to enchant young and old alike. Stroll past 300 snow-covered chalets on more than 7,500 m² of floor space, take in the scents of cinnamon and hot chocolate, and immerse yourself in an atmosphere worthy of a fairytale.
Dates to remember
For its 30th edition, the Marché de Noël de La Défense will be held from Thursday November 13 to Sunday December 28, 2025, at the foot of the Grande Arche. This year, it’s time for an even more enchanting universe: the forecourt will be lit up with magical decorations and glittering garlands, plunging visitors into a magical atmosphere. Gourmets will be tempted by a farandole of flavours from here and abroad, from the South-West to Quebec, via Alsace, the Alps and the islands. Lovers of authenticity, meanwhile, will find their happiness among the traditional craft stands, to unearth unique creations and gifts full of charm.
Magical events all season long
Ready to discover what this new edition has in store for you? Once again this year, we’ll be inviting you to the forecourt for a magical program of evening events to make your eyes shine. Every week, from Monday to Thursday at 6 p.m., Christmas Afterworks will set the mood with DJ Waxmine at the turntables, for festive and convivial evenings, from November 13 to December 23. And that’s just a foretaste of the enchantment that awaits you…
On Thursday November 13, an enchanting inaugural evening will open the ball, with ice fairies in blue and silver dresses enchanting the public in a sparkling show. On Saturday, November 15, the Bal des Paons (Peacock Ball) will sublimate the market with a poetic procession of dancers with glittering wings. On Sunday November 16, the magic of Disney comes to La Défense with a singer and Mickey’s friends for a musical moment of sweetness and nostalgia. And throughout the season, the forecourt will come alive with gourmet parades of cupcake dancers, surprise encounters with the Grinch, and enchanting shows by dancers in luminous white tutus.
For little elves
Every Wednesday and Saturday, children can take their turn in the magic of Christmas thanks to the elf workshops, a series of creative interludes. On the program: free creative workshops to make pretty souvenirs to take home, make-up booths for 3-12 year-olds to transform themselves into little elves or snow queens… And enchanted readings for 2-10 year-olds, transporting the youngest into magical stories filled with reindeer, snowflakes and laughter. Enough to make children’s eyes sparkle and let them experience the magic of the festive season, right up to Christmas…
Santa Claus and XXL natural ice rink
As he does every year, Santa Claus himself will be at the heart of the market, to meet families and immortalize unforgettable memories. And the highlight of the Paris La Défense Christmas Market is, of course, the huge 540 m² natural ice rink, a veritable icy showcase for young and old alike.
