On Friday, the largest gym in France was inaugurated, and it’s in Paris. It’s a fitness center with a volume worthy of a department store, covering no less than 5,000 m2. There’s plenty of room to work up a sweat!
France’s largest fitness experience
The On Air franchise operates 71 health clubs across France, with a membership of no less than 270,000. And its latest addition is sure to make you proud. It’s in Paris, in the 19th arrondissement to be exact, that France’s largest fitness center has opened its doors! The brand invested no less than 6 million euros to bring this XXL space entirely dedicated to sport to life. The former Castorama store on Avenue de Flandre, which is due to close in 2020, offers a succession of sports facilities. Cardio, cross training, boxing, MMA, bodybuilding, pole dancing, cycling… There’s something for everyone. In addition to a 1,000 m2 combat area, the new On Air gym also boasts a 250 m2 area entirely dedicated to women. Another advantage? A multitude of group classes. The highlight of this gym, so huge it’s almost hard to get lost? There’s even a barber shop. Never seen before!
A 5000 m2 gym, with a women’s area, physiotherapists and even a barber shop!
Located literally at the foot of the Crimée metro station (on line 7), France’s largest gym targets between 12,000 and 15,000 members. And social networking sites are already buzzing with comments. “Just incredible, this gym,” rave some. “I’d have preferred a protein bar instead of a barber shop” grumble others. Brand-new training areas, state-of-the-art machines, a set designed down to the last detail… The new On Air gym in Paris is more than just France’s largest fitness center. While its concept is certainly premium, membership is accessible to all, starting at 35 euros a month.
This XXL gym will not only be the playground of the most athletic, but it may also attract those who were reluctant to take up sport once and for all. So, are you motivated to work up a sweat in France’s biggest gym – and with music, please? Get your sneakers on!
