Nuit des Étoiles is back!
For over 30 years, the French Astronomy Association has been inviting all French people, budding astronomers or not, to take part in over 500 star-gazing events. Institutions, museums and parks are getting in on the act, each offering a mouth-watering program dedicated to the event, whose theme this year is “The Oceans of Heaven”.
If you live in Paris, you won’t have to go far to enjoy the marvellous spectacle the stars have to offer. For the duration of the event, many of the capital’s parks will welcome you and the association’s “sky-watchers”. Armed with glasses and telescopes, you’ll be invited to find and recognize the stars in the company of your evening guides. You can find a list of all participating parks here. As is the case every year, many institutions and astronomy clubs in the Paris region will also be taking part.
