The columns of the Palais-Bourbon are sporting new colors. Street artist Seth has transformed the façade ofthe National Assembly with a monumental installation—free to view—titled “Marianne Dreams.” At the center of the composition, a giant canvas depicts a young figure wearing a Phrygian cap. A poetic work of art on display through September!
A dialogue between urban art and the institution
Surrounding this central work, the building’s famous columns have been covered in gradients ranging from red to blue, framing the depiction. In this immense mural, Marianne emerges from a wave that echoes the colors of the tricolor flag. With her back to us, she seems resolutely turned toward the future. A powerful message that lifts the spirit!
This work highlights the work of Seth, an artist born in Paris in 1972 and a graduate of the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs. A world-renowned street artist, he once again presents us with a poetic and meaningful work. This magnificent and spectacular piece is on display every day through September 28.
