For the first time in the history of the Olympic Games, you’ll be able to get your hands on a host of objects and equipment linked to the event. While“90% of the equipment required for the organization of the Games will be rented or taken over by Games service providers“, the remainder will be donated to clubs and associations, or resold to the general public. And on this second point, it has been confirmed that large-scale sales for the general public will be organized throughout France.
So, every weekend from September 14 to October 13, small resales will take place all over France. For Parisians, you’ll need to visit the capital, of course, but also Pantin, Colombes, Nanterre and Compiègne. As a result, you’ll be able to get your hands on a whole host of items and equipment. Badminton shuttlecocks, chairs and even flags raised during medal ceremonies: many “relics” linked to the Paris Games and just as many souvenirs to take home will be available for purchase.
This unique initiative will leave an indelible trace of the Games for all buyers.
