The Musée Guimet, an essential meeting place for lovers of Asian art, has reopened its panoramic roof in time for the summer season. The program includes a breathtaking view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower, refined cocktails and, above all, the best of Korean street food.

Lunar New Year, prints by the hundreds and enchanting events: the Musée Guimet sets the pace for cultural events in Paris all year round, thanks to its collections and its careful, eclectic programming. Just before summer, the institution dedicated to Asian arts has given us a great option among the capital’s plethora of roof terraces. With the Han Rooftop, visitors to the 16th arrondissement institution can enjoy a sunny, gourmet stopover after visiting the museum and one of its many exhibitions. In fact, “Bronzes royaux d’Angkor, un art du divin” is currently on show, and promises a wonderful plunge into the world of Khmer civilization.

Open every day except Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Han Rooftop awaits you on the museum’s third floor, opening its kitchens from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.. This is your chance to discover the mastery of Misso’s team behind the stove, who will be serving up the essential street food of the land of the morning calm. Bibimbap, bulgogi, tteokbokki: the most emblematic dishes are obviously on the menu. Otherwise, after lunch, you can enjoy an ice cream, a small dessert or a delicious tea.
From Thursday June 12, the rooftop will also be open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings until 11pm. An opportunity to sip a cocktail while enjoying the sunset over the Parisian rooftops.
