This Valentine’s Day, forget red roses. We’ve found you an absolutely charming café-florist where you can have lunch (and give flowers) to your loved one. Welcome to Désirée! In this hybrid boutique in the 19th arrondissement, two worlds collide to create a timeless bubble. On the right is a floral workshop and on the left is a cozy canteen where people flock for lunch or afternoon tea…
Désirée: the charming florist café in the heart of Buttes-Chaumont
Why choose between giving flowers and inviting someone to a restaurant? At Désirée, you can do both. The shop’s motto? Seasonality, from bouquets to plates. For Valentine’s Day, you’ll never be offered roses (because they are often imported and have no scent). Instead, make way for ranunculus, amaryllis, and mimosa with their intoxicating scents. This is your chance to give a truly original bouquet, made up of French and ultra-local flowers. No more than 15 bouquets per day are delivered by electric cargo bike to protect the planet .

And while your bouquet is being arranged, why not sample one of the delicacies prepared by chef Johanna? Generous carrot cake, creamy matcha, comforting chai latte, and savory dishes that change depending on the day’s arrivals… We might as well tell you right now: you’re in for a treat.

And if you’re a true flower lover, the shop offers flower subscriptions: a bouquet made with love and care for you, to be discovered every two weeks. A great gift idea to declare your love, right?

A beautiful place to discover for a gourmet snack, a studious afternoon, or to treat yourself to a beautiful bouquet offlowers at a reasonable price .
