A dinner show at the Moulin Rouge, an exceptional restaurant, or a getaway to the most romantic city in Europe: there are a thousand ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day this year. But in Paris, one plan stands out from the rest: for the big day, the Grand Rex is offering a series of 18 screenings dedicated to cult romantic films. It’s an opportunity to celebrate love in front of the silver screen.
A Valentine’s Day dedicated to the silver screen in Paris
If you didn’t get your fill of romantic movies at Christmas, a wonderful catch-up session (or rather 18) awaits you in the heart of the most beautiful cinema in the world. On February 14, the Grand Rex is dedicating its entire program to the great classics of romantic cinema. In its large main theater or in the ultra-modern Infinite theater, nearly twenty screenings are scheduled from 3:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
From musicals to cult ensemble films, the program is packed with timeless classics. You can thrill to La La Land or A Star Is Born, be moved by Love Actually or Notting Hill, or treat yourself to something new with L’Amour Ouf or Wuthering Heights. In short, while the theme remains the same, there will be something for everyone.
So, for a cultural and cinematic Valentine’s Day, what better setting than the Grand Rex and its Art Deco interior? See you on February 14 on the Grands Boulevards for a truly romantic experience.
