In need of comfort this rainy autumn? For that, we’re heading to the heart of the one that was recently voted “best patisserie in the world” by a famous culinary guide. You may have recognized it: it’s the Ritz Paris Le Comptoir, where talented Chef François Perret lets his talent and creativity flow. Yes, the illustrious pastry chef never ceases to reinvent his sweet menu, season after season. A true delight for fine palates. Among the must-haves is the highly prized “Rice pudding”. A cleverly executed trompe-l’oeil pastry based on an ultra-gourmet rice pudding. This palatial delight is concealed beneath a delicate chocolate shell and a schoolboy cookie…
Rice pudding in trompe-l’oeil flavors of chocolate spread and strawberry candy!
François Perret has reinvented his “Ritz au lait” for the back-to-school season. On the menu, dear gourmets: two “Ritz au lait” perfect for a return to childhood. The first to catch our eye is the “Ritz au lait à la pâte à tartiner”, featuring a school chalkboard. A green icing in the guise of a chalkboard adorned with messages such as “with chalk” and, above all, the taste of our childhood: chocolate spread! Another ultra-regressive delight: Ritz au lait bonbon fraise and its powdery pink shades as soft as a Care Bear. This time, it’s inspired by writing books, with its tangy flavors. A colorful crunchy meringue, a strawberry-bonbon ganache, pieces of stewed strawberry, a trompe-l’oeil decorated white chocolate shell… Here’s everything you need for a delicious back-to-school!
Available in boutiques until September 30, 2024.
