At 12 rue de Poitiers, in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, you’ll find an unassuming mansion that is now home to Le Poulpry restaurant. This historic house, now managed by the Maison des Polytechniciens, offers a beautiful interlude in a part of the city far removed from the hustle and bustle.
A confidential, historic restaurant in the heart of Paris
As soon as you enter, the tone is set: elegant lounges, period moldings and subdued lighting. Here we are, far from the hustle and bustle of the capital, in a cozy, pleasant setting. The ideal setting for a quiet but relaxed lunch. Nestled in a discreet courtyard, Le Poulpry offers visitors an unusual setting.
In autumn, the cuisine features a range of appetizers, from crispy eggs to scallops and lobster. The culinary adventure continues with turbot pavé with sweet potato and braised salsify, fillet of beef or pastilla-style roast pigeon supreme. Finally, after the cheese, there’s a fine selection of desserts, including a chocolate-hazelnut finger, a nougat entremets and a (very) gourmet café.
Of course, the exceptional setting and refined cuisine are complemented by impeccable, personalized service. As for price, a lunch menu at 57€ allows you to enjoy a good gastro at a reasonable price.
