The mobile game phenomenon Pokémon Go is celebrating its 8th birthday (already). Every year, a festival is organized in three key cities to bring together players from all over the world. And for this latest edition, it’s in Paris that players will be able to battle it out, in the Parc de Sceaux to be precise! See you there from June 13 to 15!
Pokémon Go Fest in Paris: what you need to know
This summer, from June 13 to 15, the Pokémon Go Fest comes to Paris. After Osaka from May 29 to June 1ᵉʳ and Jersey City from June 6 to 8, Niantic has chosen Paris to represent Europe at its fun festival. For three days, come and face trainers from all over the world and try to capture rare Pokémon.
We now know that the event that all trainers have been waiting for will take place in the Parc de Sceaux, a magnificent estate well known to flower lovers. While the Pokémon Fest is a ticketed event, entry to the park is free and open to all.
Exclusive goodies such as plush toys will of course be on hand. And there’s a good chance that a photobooth will be set up to immortalize these few days! Specific team events, such as raids and rare Pokémon to capture, should be part of the program. This is likely to be the case for Paris, as it was for the other participating cities. Mascots are also expected to be present, including some never before seen in France!
As far as prices are concerned, players will have to pay between 22 and 27 euros for half a day. Ticketing is already open! While we know that “Early Bird” tickets are no longer available, we can tell you that there are still a few places left to take part in the event of the year for all Pokémon trainers! So don’t miss out!
