The mobile game phenomenon Pokémon Go is celebrating its 8th birthday (already). Every year, a festival is organized in three key cities to bring together players from all over the world. And for this latest edition, it’s in Paris that players can go head-to-head! We tell you all about it.
Pokémon Go Fest in Paris: what you need to know
This summer, from June 13 to 15, the Pokémon Go Fest comes to Paris. After Osaka from May 29 to June 1ᵉʳ and Jersey City from June 6 to 8, Niantic has chosen Paris to represent Europe at its fun festival. For three days, come and face trainers from all over the world and try to capture rare Pokémon.
While we don’t yet know anything about this event, previous editions may give us a few clues. For a start, it’s easy to imagine players gathering in one of the city’s parks to indulge their passion for Pokémon. Why not La Villette? The park would provide an immense 55-hectare playground for the trainers!

Exclusive goodies such as plush toys will of course be on hand. A photobooth will also be on hand to immortalize these few days! Specific team events, such as raids and rare Pokémon to capture, should be part of the program. It’s likely that this will be the case for Paris, as it has been for the other participating cities.
As for prices, players could expect to pay between 27 and 32 euros! See you in March to find out more!
