Published on July 22, the ranking honors cities around the world that live the night to the beat of the BPM, and highlights the “nocturnal renaissance” of Paris in recent years.
Paris: the world’s third-largest party city
With its ever-increasing diversity of clubs, Paris has established itself as a privileged destination for night owls. From classic, unchanging clubs to alternative third-tier venues and energetic new scenes, the capital boasts a plethora of places to go out until the wee hours of the morning. That’s why it was recently recognized by Time Out, in its ranking of the best cities for nightlife.
For its methodology, the magazine surveyed over 18,000 people worldwide. Among the criteria analyzed were nightlife habits, prices, the quality of the local scene, the diversity of what’s on offer and the overall atmosphere. After this analysis, Time Out’s experts came up with the final rankings.
So where should you go to experience the world’s most intense nights? In first place, we find the indestructible Las Vegas, whose reputation is the height of excess. In second place comes Madrid, whose hidden bars and music scene attract crowds from all over Europe. After Paris, the top 5 was rounded off with Shanghai and Berlin.
