It’s THE new sport to try out in 2025: from Instagram to terrace chats, in Paris, padel is everywhere! Born in Mexico in the 60s, this racket sport is played in doubles on a closed court, with the ball bouncing off the walls of the court (for novices: the padel court). It’s a cross between tennis and squash, not to be confused with paddle-boarding, where the player paddles on the water while standing on a board!
