At the Musée Grévin, you can take photos with wax figures of your favorite stars, your favorite animated characters, and even world-famous political figures. But manga had never been featured before! Never mind—the museum’s creative team has teamed up with the Japanese animation studio Toei to create 10 statues depicting the heroes of One Piece. Luffy and the entire Straw Hat Crew are waiting for you in a magnificent 80 m² setting, specially designed just for them!
One Piece is coming to the Musée Grévin
For the first time ever, characters from Japanese animation are joining the Musée Grévin! Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Chopper , and the other members of the famous Straw Hat Pirate crew have just joined the museum’s collection of 250 wax figures. These 10 wax figures were designed in collaboration with the Toei animation studio to faithfully reproduce every detail.
While some are life-size, like Luffy, Robin, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji, others are truly massive! This is the case for Franky, the crew’s shipwright, and Jimbei, the crew’s helmsman and fish-man, who are both about three meters tall.
The pirates are featured in the “Cabaret du Soleil,” which offers a highly immersive setting spanning over 80 m². Visitors will feel as though they’re celebrating with the entire crew! You’ll see Brook, the musician, playing a piece on the piano; Sanji, the cook, preparing a variety of dishes; and Zoro and Jimbei raising a toast. A setting that faithfully captures the spirit of shonen: festive and joyful! Check it out now at the museum!
