Nuit Blanche 2025: cinema takes center stage in Paris
For its 24ᵉ edition, Nuit Blanche will highlight cinema and its 130-year history on June 7. You’ll discover, free of charge and throughout the night, more than a hundred varied artistic projects around this art form that has so marked the City of Light.
The 14ᵉ arrondissement’ s legendary cinema, les 7 parnassiens, will be screening video works linked around the theme of resistance. These include works by artists Alice Brygo, Anne-Charlotte Finel and filmmaker Clément Cogitore.
Cinematographic projections will be visible outdoors on the side of the sports fields of the Saint-Paul gardens or on the Quai de Valmy in the 10ᵉ arrondissement. For one night, the city of Paris will be transformed into “an ephemeral projection canvas”.
In the 15th arrondissement, on the Place Place Raoul-Dautry, you’ll be able to admire an exclusive 10-minute animated film directed by Michel Gondry entitled “Quelle nuit blanche!”.
Cinema… and music!
Of course, night owls needn’t worry! We’ve got a great line-up of music to keep you tapping your toes all night long, until the wee hours of the morning. There will be a magnificent light and sound installation in the Sorbonne Chapel, in the 5th arrondissement, as well as projections and shows at the Petit Palais.
Of course, the inner and outer suburbs will also be involved in this new edition, which promises to be unique!
