Place de la Concorde transformed into a veritable Christmas village
Oyez oyez lovers of Christmas markets and entertainment. This festive season, the legendary Place de la Concorde invites you to dream away. This year, the much-loved Hôtel de Ville Christmas market has been relocated to the east of the square.
Here you’ll find a toboggan run surrounded by illuminated fir trees, open until 9 p.m. every day. You’ll also be able to admire five glittering Christmas windows, including one designed by Lego.
And, of course, there will be a Christmas market on site to delight young and old alike. The six “Fabriqué à Paris” (Made in Paris) chalets will be selling handmade items, as well as sweet and savoury treats. Older visitors can enjoy mulled wine, and those who like to sit down will be able to dine on seafood and other culinary delights.
Finally, children aged 7 to 77 can catch a glimpse of Santa Claus every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, and every day during school vacations, between 3pm and 9pm. This is your chance to tell him how good you’ve been all year, and maybe get the present of your dreams!
