Paris is beautiful! But the City of Light is even more spectacular when viewed from a little higher up! You’re in luck, there’s no shortage of rooftops in Paris. And there’s even one that recently stood out as the most beautiful in France and one of the most beautiful in Europe. It’s called Les Ombres. A spectacular open-air bar with a breathtaking view of our beloved Iron Lady, as well as the rooftop of the Quai Branly. A magical place, rewarded for its breathtaking views of course, but also for its inventive cuisine inspired by Mediterranean delights… Shall we show you around?
Les Ombres: the most beautiful rooftop in France
It was on the Enjoytravel website, which each year publishes its top 50 most beautiful rooftops in Europe, that our Paris rooftop made its mark. Located at 24ᵉ Place,it is one of the few French addresses selected by the travel site.
Of course, what makes it so renowned throughout Europe is its exceptional view of the Eiffel Towerrooftop. It’s not the first in Paris, but it’s certainly one of the most impressive. Perched on the 5th floor , you’ll almost have the sensation of being able to touch it with your fingertips. A dazzling panoramic view that transforms into a magical spectacle at nightfall, when the Eiffel Tower lights up with a thousand lights. Here, sunsets take on a whole new flavor, and promise a sweet moment of poetry every evening.
On the menu, your taste buds will travel to sun-drenched Mediterranean lands! You’ll enjoy a surprising lavender-infused spritz, refreshing for summer, as well as a range of sweet and savoury amuse-bouches to savour à la bonne franquette: vegetarian burger, waffle potatoes with paprika, cookie served warm with roasted hazelnuts… Impossible not to salivate.
This magnificent rooftop, currently closed, will reopen in spring 2026, hopefully with a sunny season to make the most of it.
