The Rooftop Eylau is the perched address of the Canopy by Hilton Paris Trocadéro hotel. Located on Avenue d’Eylau, just behind the Place du Trocadéro, this rooftop terrace normally offers an exceptional panorama. But for the colder season, the venue is adorned with a transparent bubble, a giant heated and comfortable dome that lets you enjoy the show without fear of bad weather.
The entrance itself is a bit of an adventure. The bubble is accessed via a double-door airlock, rather like a spaceship. Once inside, the atmosphere is hushed and cosy, with sofas, tables and a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Paris.
The star of the show, of course, is the Eiffel Tower, towering directly opposite. But the panorama doesn’t stop there, offering a unique perspective on the Montparnasse Tower. It’s the ideal spot to meet up at the end of the day, when the city lights come on. As for the menu, you’ll come for a drink and a bite to eat. The menu features signature cocktails such as Grey Goose and St Germain, a fine selection of wines and cheese and charcuterie boards to nibble on.
