Every year, the streets of Montmartre are transformed into a veritable cultural playground. Open-air concerts, street shows, artists’ performances and gourmet markets take over the neighborhood for a weekend. The 2025 edition of the Montmartre Festival promises an even more convivial atmosphere, with a program designed for all audiences, from families to party-goers.
The Montmartre Festival returns with a bang for 2025
Live music in the emblematic squares, workshops for children, craft demonstrations and open-air exhibitions: the Montmartre Festival offers total immersion in the cultural life of the district. Day and night, the hilltop resonates to the sound of brass bands, DJ sets and intimate concerts. Cafés, galleries and small theaters join in with the event, offering happenings all over the place.
The idea behind the festival is simple: to celebrate the spirit of Montmartre, a blend of art, festivity and conviviality. Visitors can stroll from square to square, enjoy a glass of wine on the terraces, stroll past works of art and take in the free shows. It’s also a chance to rediscover the neighborhood’s emblematic landmarks, such as Sacré-Cœur, Place du Tertre and the cobblestone streets.
The event runs from Friday, October 3 to Sunday, October 5, throughout the district. Most events are free, but some workshops may require on-site registration on the day. See you there!
