Line 12 is one of the least popular lines on the RATP network… Too long, too many stations, too many problems—everyone has their own little complaint. But with the new disruption coming in November, you might end up liking it even less… Here’s an update.
Six stations on Line 12 to close in November
In preparation for the arrival of the future MF19, renovation work is continuing in Paris. Line 12 is affected by this work. The line will be completely closed between Jules Joffrin and Mairie d’Aubervilliers on the weekend of November 14–15. It will be impossible to travel through these six stations at any time during those two days.
Specifically, the stations Marcadet-Poissonniers, Marx Dormoy, Porte de la Chapelle, Front Populaire, Aimé Césaire, and Mairie d’Aubervilliers will be closed. The Jules Joffrin station will serve as the temporary terminus during that weekend.
Of course, as is often the case in situations like this, replacement buses will be provided to minimize inconvenience to passengers.
