As you know, May 1 marks the start of a series of holidays, as well as Labor Day! For this reason, several demonstrations will take place in Paris and throughout France… But be warned: demonstrations mean traffic disruptions! In fact, some metro stations will be closed this Friday, May 1, starting at 12 p.m.! Here are all the details you need to know…
Metro stations closed on May 1
Be warned: if you were planning to take the metro tomorrow, you may need to change your plans! The RATP has just announced service disruptions at no fewer than 11 stations starting tomorrow at 12 p.m. The affected stations are :
- On Line 3: Parmentier, Rue Saint-Maur, and Temple
- On Line 5: Oberkampf (no transfers possible), Richard-Lenoir, and Bréguet-Sabin
- On Line 8: Filles du Calvaire
- On Line 9: Charonne, Rue des Boulets, Saint-Ambroise, Oberkampf, and Voltaire
Metro service disruptions throughout the month of May…
And since good news never comes alone, two lines on the RATP network will experience service disruptions throughout the month of May. These are :
- Line 3 until May 12: no trains will run between Gambetta and Gallieni
- Line 4: no trains between Châtelet and Barbès
