A historic day at the Château de Vincennes
Thanks to two companies of passionate artists, it’s a truly historic day at the Château de Vincennes. The Centre des Monuments Nationaux gives you the chance to meet some of the illustrious figures who brought the building to life in their time, and to discover ancient traditions at the same time. This special day begins with a bird-of-prey show led by costumed falconers. Then, the Estocade company will present a historical show retracing the fascinating life of Eleanor of Aquitaine.
The program in detail:
– 11 a.m. – 11:40 a.m. – Presentation of birds of prey in flight by two costumed falconers (approx. 40 minutes) in the château’s royal courtyard.
– 2 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. – “Aliénor” show in the dungeon courtyard
– 3 pm – 3:40 pm – Presentation of birds of prey in flight by two costumed falconers (approx. 40 minutes) in the castle’s royal courtyard
– 16h – 16h45 – “Aliénor” show in the courtyard of the keep
And for the icing on the cake, all you need is an entrance ticket to the château, at no extra charge.
