Imagine: an imposing keep, the sound of hooves on cobblestones, and the smell of a wood fire… Just an hour from the capital, the Château de Blandy-les-Tours is ready to take you on a journey back in time!
From May 30 to 31, get ready to experience the thrillsof the Middle Ages right within the castle walls. On the program: a falconry show, a medieval tournament, and a setting more realistic than life itself , where knights and period artisans will wander through the castle. It’s a chance to discover the secrets of blacksmiths, weavers, and apothecaries, who will be at work all weekend long.
But that’s not all! You’ll also have the chance to do a little shopping at its artisanal market, where you’ll find hidden gems: jewelry, costumes, local specialties… and even sample a few delicacies like hypocras (in moderation, my lord!)—all in a festive atmosphere unique to the Île-de-France region.
