Hidden away in the Swedish church in the 17ᵉ arrondissement, this very authentic Christmas market will transport you! Over the course of a weekend, you’ll discover authentic Scandinavian specialties never seen elsewhere: dried fish, cupcakes and homemade decorations… A lovely Nordic interlude for just three days!
The Swedish Christmas market: one of the most secret in Paris
Every year, as the festive season approaches, this pretty, century-old Protestant church with its red stones hides a fabulous secret… A pretty Nordic Christmas market enchants Parisians and the curious in search of original gifts and delicacies to devour. The various stalls, assembled by hand by volunteers, immediately lend an authentic charm to the place. Here, you won’t find standardized toys or “perfect” cakes. Everything is homemade and from the heart, which inevitably adds to the soul of the place!

There’s something for everyone: a Nordic grocery store, with “ready-to-eat” gravlax salmon, hot glöggs, a confectionery corner, hot dogs,waffles…. You’ll want to devour it all. A small catering area will also be set up, where you can enjoy typical Christmas specialities for lunch. In a very friendly, almost family atmosphere, you’ll be able to pick up handcrafted decorative items such as Christmas wreaths to hang on your door, Swedish glassware, candles or hanging baskets to hang on your Christmas tree. A very, very pretty market, far from the big standardized markets , to be discovered only from November 28 to 30!
