So, we have to tell you, we’re stunned. Open since November 28, this little Christmas market in the 16th arrondissement has all the ingredients for success: gourmet chalets where you can enjoy a Savoyard fondue with friends, skate on natural ice or take part in creative workshops with your children. And yet, despite the warm atmosphere, the good products and even the presence of Santa Claus three times a week, this gourmet Christmas market is desperately empty… But Trinquet Village is well worth the detour!
A little-known Christmas market bursting with charm

From November 28 to January 3, the 16ᵉ arrondissement is the place to be for all things Christmas. Here, you won’t find any gift ideas, but plenty to fill your stomach! Young and old alike are invited to sample seasonal delights such as mulled wine, waffles, crêpes and tasty hot chocolates. And for those with a sweet tooth, there’s the Savoyard foodcourt, where you can devour tartiflettes, well-stocked burgers and extra-fresh oysters. And frankly, the quality is top-notch! The dishes are hearty and tasty, made with quality produce.

Every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, and every day during school vacations, come and say hello to Santa Claus in his house, set up in the heart of the market. You’ll be able to take photos with him and give him your letter. nfinally, throughout these few days, live concerts and DJs will liven up this festive place until 2 a.m. on certain weeknights! And for those who’ve still got it, head for the market’s ice rink. For eight euros per person, you can skate unlimited on this beautiful 300 m² surface.
