Which are the least stressful towns in the Paris region?
“2 out of 3 French people feel stressed. In the preamble to its study, Le Figaro gives a rather dizzying figure that says a lot. This somewhat alarming finding raises questions about the quality of life of French people, and prompted the daily, along with a group of experts, to conduct a survey. Based on some twenty defined criteria, including density, noise, safety and transport, the thirty most populous towns in the Paris region were analyzed.
In the urban jungle that is the Paris region, which are the best places to live? To the south-east of the capital, Saint-Maur-des-Fossés was chosen as the least stressful city in the Paris region. Close to the Bois de Vincennes, this commune on the banks of the Marne enjoys a vibrant local life, a satisfying cultural offering and a reputation for safety, all within easy reach of Paris. In second place is Versailles, with its rich historical heritage. Finally, Rueil-Malmaison rounds off the podium.
