Why not set sail? Yes, but without leaving Paris! This summer, an incredible boat in LEGO colors will be sailing down the Seine. An unusual and colorful stroll along the water’s edge, to enjoy the sunny days with your hair blowing in the wind. Old sea dogs, freshwater sailors and little sailors: ready to drop anchor and (re)discover Paris?
Take a trip down the Seine aboard a LEGO boat
The famous LEGO range of construction toys is on a roll. Building on its success, the multi-colored briquette brand is teaming up with Batobus this summer. Together, they have imagined a joyful boat-cruise to take to the open sea, and live an unusual experience. From Wednesday July 31 to September 16, one of the eight boats in the Batobus fleet will be sporting the LEGO colors. Dockside AND aboard this unique boat, tourists and Parisians alike can enjoy an unforgettable voyage.
Set a course for the most beautiful monuments in Paris, with your crew
In this life-size LEGO boat, young and old can enjoy a unique experience. But what exactly are the surprises in store for you, dear sailors? To welcome you: a human-sized LEGO minifigure as captain. That sets the tone. On board, incredible LEGO reproductions, such as the Eiffel Tower and the LEGO brick boat, will delight fans of the Danish giant.
And at the heart of the LEGO boat, you’ll be able to hop on and off as you please throughout the day, thanks to 9 stops around Paris. At each stop, a LEGO construction will be on display, including 2 monumental ones. At the “Eiffel Tower” stop, a 3.30m-high LEGO Iron Lady will blow your mind. At the “Jardin des Plantes” stop, a 2.80-metre-high bouquet of XXL LEGO flowers will not leave you indifferent.
A LEGO passport, fun workshops and prizes to be won
To complete the experience, a LEGO passport will even be offered to each passenger. Another activity: a family discovery of the Braille alphabet, via an introductory activity using Braille LEGO bricks. Last but not least, on board you’ll have the chance to win a host of surprises and gifts from the brand. We’re sure you’ll leave with plenty of good memories once you’ve arrived in port. Godspeed, sailors!
