When we talk about ranches, we’re pretty sure that most of you think of the United States and its wide open spaces, or even cowboys in westerns… A culture that seems very far removed from our own! Yet, just 45 minutes from Paris, lies an unexpected gem: the largest ranch in Europe. Welcome to Bo Ranch, a magnificent 6-hectare estate where horses and humans live together in harmony. Here, you can watch reining competitions, stroll around the grounds , and enjoy a meal in a peaceful setting.
The largest ranch in Europe, less than an hour from Paris

Located in La Chapelle-la-Reine in the Seine-et-Marne department (77), Bo Ranch is a rather unique place in the Île-de-France region. Founded by Grégory Morat in 2012, the ranch specializes in reining training and competition. This is a very impressive dressage technique that requires perfect harmony between the rider and their horse. Throughout the year, you can watch these high-flying equestrian competitions directly from the clubhouse. Connected to the riding arena, the clubhouse offers a breathtaking view of the entire competition.

If you prefer to take your time in a more cozy setting, we recommend the Bar & Restaurant. Under its magnificent glass roof overlooking the park, you can enjoy gourmet and generous dishes, cooked with local produce from the garden. On the menu? The irresistible BO Burger with crispy fries (also available in a veggie version) or a well-grilled cut of meat to satisfy meat lovers… For dessert, you’ll love the Ghanaian chocolate lava cake with pistachio whipped cream. A real treat for the taste buds!

Open to all, the ranch offers a peaceful setting that will make you forget you’re just outside Paris. Although you can’t enter the stables, which are reserved exclusively for staff, it’s not uncommon to see horses roaming the grounds throughout the day. Here, they are pampered and treated like true VIPs! A very exotic place to discover for a weekend getaway.
