On the slabs of the pedestrian esplanade, the layout is designed to encourage everyone to participate, from young children to adults. Large red tables hold various wooden logic and skill games, around which passing players bustle. There are shuffleboard games, vertical courses with holes for marbles to climb, and even traditional board games . A large playground where everyone seems to be having fun and relaxing!
Free access three days a week
The space is staffed by game librarians on site to offer advice and explain the rules of the various games. The facilities are open to the public every week on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. No need to register in advance or pay anything: just show up and pick the game of your choice!

To find this open-air game library, simply head to Place de la République and look for the large bright red structure set up under the trees, just a few dozen meters from the monumental statue of Marianne.
