Staying in a beautiful hotel is one thing, but soon you’ll be able to take home your armchair, bedside lamp, or even Art Deco furniture! Because yes, that’s exactly what The Hotel Drop will offer — a one-of-a-kind event taking place in Paris from June 18 to 21, 2026.
The concept is simple: rather than throwing away or storing furniture replaced during renovations, several hotels are selling off some of their furnishings and decorative items. For four days only, the general public will be able to buy online pieces that have actually adorned the rooms, lounges, or common areas of Parisian hotels.
Behind this initiative is ECO-ONE, a company specializing in helping hotels adopt more sustainable practices. With The Hotel Drop, it is bringing to France a concept already successfully tested in Spain: giving a second life to furniture still in excellent condition while preventing it from ending up in the dumpster.
For this first Parisian edition, three hotels are participating in the event, including the Hôtel des Grands Hommes, just a stone’s throw from the Panthéon, and the Hôtel Artus, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood. More than 700 items will be offered for sale, ranging from simple decorative objects to much more imposing pieces.
Interior design enthusiasts will find Art Deco furniture, armchairs, lighting fixtures, mirrors, works of art, and even more unexpected items like canopy beds. Each piece has its own story and comes directly from a Parisian hotel.

Beyond the great deals, the event also highlights a shift in the hotel industry. Regular renovations often generate large quantities of furniture that is still usable. More and more players are now seeking solutions to extend the lifespan of these items rather than systematically replacing them.
During a previous edition held in Spain, more than 1,400 items found new owners in a single day. This success convinced ECO-ONE to expand the concept to other countries, notably France and Portugal.
For interior design enthusiasts, bargain hunters, or simply the curious, The Hotel Drop offers a rare opportunity: to acquire select pieces from Parisian hotels without going through traditional secondhand furniture channels.
The sale will take place exclusively online from June 18 to 21, 2026, while supplies last. Free pre-registration is required to access the platform, and purchases must then be picked up directly from the participating hotels. It’s up to you!
