Tired of the same old pancakes and eggs Benedict brunch? Want to get off the beaten path? We’ve found THE perfect weekend plan for you. Galerie WAWI, an art gallery at the forefront of new trends tucked away at the end of Rue Albert Thomas (10th arrondissement), launched a highly innovative concept a few years ago: Brunch & Paint. Combining a vegetarian brunch with a painting workshop to the delight of budding artists and foodies alike, it’s the perfect unique experience to try with friends. Just be careful not to mix up your fork and paintbrush!

A hybrid concept that appeals to aspiring artists and curious Parisians
Here, brunch is unlike anything else. You settle in front of a blank canvas in a space entirely covered in street art. On the walls: tags, murals, stencil art… Enough to inspire the guests seated at their easels, who follow the expert advice of a street artist.

And on the plate? The cuisine reflects the spirit of the venue: homemade and no-frills. Far from lukewarm buffet spreads, Wawi’s brunch complements the workshop with lightness. It includes a pastry, yogurt, avocado toast, or a waffle burger with fries. Served in three courses, it maintains the balance between the painting workshop and lunch, allowing you to return to your canvas between bites without feeling like you’re doing two things halfway.
Once a month, jazz takes center stage at Galerie WAWI
One Sunday a month, the gallery takes the experience a step further with a live jazz concert. The acoustics are top-notch, the atmosphere ultra-intimate… It’s the little extra that really elevates the experience: keep a close eye on the date if you want to enjoy the full experience.

Open to beginners
This is undoubtedly the workshop’s greatest strength: no one is left to fend for themselves in front of a blank canvas. An artist guides you through the steps, one by one, at a pace that leaves time to catch your breath and finish your coffee. Beginners and experienced artists mingle over a meal and can even exchange a few tips. At the end, everyone leaves with their artwork under their arm, as a memento of a memorable Sunday brunch. Definitely a spot to keep in mind for the next Sunday when you’re looking for something to do.
