But then, what makes this highly gourmet new recipe such a success? Widely relayed on social networks, this new culinary concept is a beautiful revisitation of the two sweet treats. It’s a real Madagascar vanilla custard on a deliciously soft cookie dough. A combination that had to be thought of, and the result is there!
You know where to go to try this little treat. You can even take advantage of the opportunity to try other specialities from the house, such as cookie tarts or cookie waffles, other creations that are also worth a detour!
And to make your own flankie, here’s the recipe : flankie combines a cookie dough base and a flan maker. Prepare the cookie dough by mixing butter, sugars, egg, flour, baking powder, salt and chocolate chips, then spread it out in a mould and set aside in the freezer. Prepare the flan mixture by heating milk, cream and vanilla, then add a mixture of eggs, sugar and cornflour and cook until thickened. Pour the flan over the frozen cookie dough, then bake at 170°C for 40 minutes. Cool and refrigerate before serving.
