Jazz à la Villette, one of Paris’s favorite rendez-vous for fans of the genre, is making a comeback in 2025. Between the Philharmonie de Paris and the Cité de la Musique and a host of other venues, this festival will bring together many enthusiasts and the crème de la crème of the jazz scene for 10 exciting days of music.
Jazz à la Villette signs up for a comeback in 2025
The return of fine weather also means the return of small festivals and concerts that we love time and time again. And since jazz is a much-loved and timeless musical style, there are plenty of events taking place at this time of year. La Défense, Enghien or Parc Floral: the Parisian summer is punctuated by this modern and contemporary genre. And as for the Festival de la Villette, we already know the dates of its return!
The date is set for the end of summer, from Thursday August 28 to Sunday September 7, at the Philharmonie de Paris and the Cité de la Musique. But the festival will also be held at the Grande Halle de la Villette, the Atelier du Plateau, the Dynamo des banlieues bleues and the Studio de l’Ermitage. On the programming front, the first names have already been revealed! Shabaka, Salif Keïta, Sona Jobarteh and Jordan Rakei are just some of the artists who will be on hand to get us swinging this summer. Just a few of the many talented artists who will be joining the line-up throughout the year.
