
Here’s a piece of news that will give vertigo sufferers a scare! The Eiffel Tower has just inaugurated one of its most spectacular and vertiginous attractions: a 60-meter-high suspension bridge! Brave visitors have until March 9 to try it out!
A new challenge for challenge-lovers
At a height of 315 metres (330 metres if its antenna is included), the Eiffel Tower is the tallest building in Paris! As the symbol and highest point of the City of Light, it attracts the interest of many sports enthusiasts, artists and acrobats in search of a challenge! Alain Robert climbed the Eiffel Tower with his bare hands in 1996, Anouk Garnier set a world record for rope-climbing in 2024, Alan John Hackett bungee-jumped in 1987… there’s no shortage of feats, and now it’s the turn of the public to be challenged by the Eiffel Tower!
It’s now possible to hang from the 1st floor of the Eiffel Tower, 60 metres above the ground, thanks to a suspension bridge!
The Eiffel Tower welcomes France’s highest urban suspension bridge
The latest news from the Eiffel Tower is sure to give you a thrill! The Eiffel Tower has just installed a suspension bridge on its second floor, at a height of 60 metres! Constructed in mesh by specialist company Arboricorde, the 40-metre-long, fully-secured footbridge will enable the most intrepid visitors to walk “in the void”, with a bird’s-eye view of the forecourt!
This vertiginous experience is open until March 9 (accessible to children aged 3 and over). All you need is a ticket for access to the 1st floor of the monument, and a QR code to register on site.
