Vinyl lovers too have their day of celebration, their sacrosanct holiday: Disquaire Day! This festival of vinyl records returns in 2025, on Saturday April 12. On the program: new records to buy and events at independent record shops!
A celebration of vinyl and independent record shops
The quest for a rare record, the excitement of discovery, the passion for collecting– these are all well known to music lovers and vinyl enthusiasts! Whether crammed into their favorite record shop, folded in half on top of cardboard boxes at garage sales or hunting for bargains at flea markets, the most fervent music lovers – the famous “diggers ” – have digging running through their veins!
Since the rebirth of the vinyl record some fifteen years ago, many lovers of the black wafer have been celebrating it on Disquaire Day. Conceived as a celebration of vinyl, with its events organized all over the world and its unreleased records, Disquaire Day (or Record Store Day) is also a way of highlighting independent record stores, essential (and endangered) players in the music sector.
The 2025 Disquaire Day program in Paris
