In 2026, Disneyland Paris will inaugurate its second monumental land, entirely dedicated to the world of The Snow Queen. Called World of Frozen, this winter kingdom will take its place at the heart of the current Walt Disney Studios, renamed Disney Adventure World for the occasion. Here, dreamers of all ages will be able to wander through the Kingdom of Arendelle, in the heart of an icy city bearing the effigy of the princess with wheat-blonde hair. A 3-hectare lake will take center stage, providing the backdrop for new aquatic and aerial shows. But one question remained unanswered: when will World of Frozen officially open? The date has just been revealed.
At Destination D23, the annual gathering of Disney fans in Florida, new information was revealed about World of Frozen. Elsa’s ice palace will open in spring 2026. At the heart of The Snow Queen land, visitors will soon discover Arendelle Castle, inspired by traditional Scandinavian architecture. On the construction front, the Imagineers have just completed the installation of Elsa’s ice palace, perched atop the North Mountain, the highest point in World of Frozen. Day by day, Arendelle comes to life…

What surprises await visitors at the heart of World of Frozen?
After many years of work (and a sprinkling of fairy dust), this is what World of Frozen should look like. When the land opens in 2026, visitors will be able to board a brand-new attraction called “Frozen Ever After”. This immersive water ride will take young and old back to the cult moments of the Disney animated film, via 10 iconic scenes. The attraction promises adventure, magic and thrills, with a final waterfall, just like the “Pirates of the Caribbean” attraction. Around the new ” Frozen Ever After” attraction, a Nordic-inspired restaurant and themed boutique will welcome visitors in ultra-immersive settings. What’s more, it will even be possible to meet Disney characters in the likeness of the two sisters, Anna and Elsa.
A new night show will overlook the 3-hectare “World of Frozen” lake, featuring a ballet of aquatic drones.
But the magic doesn’t stop there for the immense World of Frozen. After the launch of Disney Tales of Magic , which now illuminates the facades of Main Street, a new immersive night show will add to the enchantment of the XXL land dedicated to the Snow Queen. On the 70,000 m2 central lake, a breathtaking evening show will combine water screens, fountains, pyrotechnic effects and a ballet of aquatic drones. The first tests have already begun, and everything suggests that this new night-time show will be more sensational than ever. See you in the spring of 2026!
