World of Frozen: mountain construction nearing completion
On Saturday April 12, Disneyland Paris unveiled new information on the progress of the World of Frozen construction site. Started several years ago, the work is progressing apace. The 36-metre-highNorth Mountain, the land’s highest point, is now almost complete. However, Elsa’s spectacular ice castle, the centerpiece of the scenography, has not yet been “delivered”, so to speak. According to Michel Den Dulk, vice-president of Walt Disney Imageenering, the immense ice palace is scheduled to be installed this summer.
What surprises await visitors to the Snow Queen Land?
After years of construction (and with a sprinkling of fairy dust), here’s what World of Frozen should look like next year. When the land opens in 2026, visitors will be able to board a brand-new attraction called “Frozen Ever After”. This immersive water ride will take young and old back to the cult moments of the Disney animated film, via 10 iconic scenes. The attraction promises adventure, magic and thrills, with a final waterfall, just like the “Pirates of the Caribbean” attraction. Around the new ” Frozen Ever After” attraction, a Nordic-inspired restaurant and themed boutique will welcome visitors in ultra-immersive settings. What’s more, it will even be possible to meet Disney characters in the likeness of the two sisters, Anna and Elsa.
A breathtaking new night show on the 2-hectare lake
But the magic doesn’t stop there for the immense World of Frozen. After the launch of Disney Tales of Magic , which now illuminates the Main Street facades, a new immersive night show will add to the enchantment of the XXL land dedicated to the Snow Queen. On the 70,000 m2 central lake, a breathtaking evening show will combine water screens, fountains, pyrotechnic effects and a ballet of aquatic drones. The first tests have already begun, and everything suggests that this new night-time show will be more sensational than ever. See you in 2026!
